Biography
Goodnews Erondu is a systems thinker at the heart of Nigeria’s real estate evolution. As the COO and Co-Founder of Rentranzact, she leads operations and legal strategy for one of Africa’s most promising property-tech startups — making rental transactions simpler, safer, and smarter for landlords and renters alike.
A trained lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator, Goodnews brings legal rigor and regulatory clarity to the fast-paced world of proptech. But her journey into real estate didn’t begin in a boardroom — it started in interior design and hospitality, where she built Bezalel Designs and Bezalel Apartments, responding to real resident needs across Lagos.
With degrees in Microbiology, Law (LLB), and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, Goodnews weaves together science, structure, and service. She is passionate about using tech and design to humanize housing — while staying deeply committed to justice, equity, and women’s safety through her volunteer work with the Lagos State DSVA and Office of the Public Defender.
Whether she's optimizing operations or advocating for the voiceless, Goodnews brings precision, empathy, and unwavering purpose to every venture. At Rentranzact, she’s proving that running a startup and standing for justice aren’t mutually exclusive — they’re deeply connected.
