Dangote Industries Limited is a diversified Nigerian conglomerate founded in 1981 by Aliko Dangote and headquartered in Lagos, with interests in cement, sugar, salt, flour and other manufacturing. It operates across Africa and is Africa's leading cement producer through Dangote Cement. Its 700,000 barrels-per-day Dangote Petroleum Refinery in the Lekki Free Zone in Lagos, Africa's biggest and the world's biggest single-train facility, was inaugurated in May 2023.
