Caoutchouc : après 43,2 milliards FCFA de pertes en deux ans chez Hevecam et Sudcam, Hainan Rubber prépare un plan

The Cameroonian companies Hevecam and Sudcam, controlled by the Chinese group Hainan Rubber through its Singaporean subsidiary Halcyon Agri, accumulated 73 million dollars of net losses in 2024 and 2025, amounting to approximately 43.2 billion FCFA. This figure emerges from the comparison of two financial opinions published on 26 April 2025 and 29 April 2026 on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In response to these results, Hainan Rubber indicates, in its half-year report published on 28 August 2026, that it is continuing to develop a plan aimed at reducing the losses of its Cameroonian plantations.

Why it matters: Investors in Hainan Rubber must monitor the turnaround strategy for its Cameroonian assets, which recorded 73 million dollars in net losses in 2024 and 2025.
